City bracing for historic snow storm, part two – KSN TV, Kansas News and Weather.
Up until now we have been really rather disappointed with this winter. No rain, not even a threat of rain. And up until this last week no threat of snow either. Well I can now eat my words.
We have 14″ of snow on the ground and now we’re expecting another round of at least 8″-14″.
Historic proportions. And I love it. My family is well schooled in the arts of snow; snow shoveling, snow angels, snowball fights, snow sculptures, snow tunnels, snow Pokemon battles. You name it, if it can be done with snow my kids do it.
So far so good as far as health & safety. House is good. Car is good. Kids are good. Josh’s work is super busy with flats, spin outs that hit curbs, snow banks, etc. It must really suck to take frozen, wet, icey dirt filled wheels & tires off. But hey, he’s a fixer, a doer.
I keep crossing my fingers that this flu will end soon but every morning I wake up and it’s not going away! Ugh. At least the snow storms can now be a valid reason for staying curled up, reading, knitting, enjoying the wintery weather.
